The building of the old School of Chemistry was designed by Ernst Ziller. It was founded in 1887 and was inaugurated on January of 1890. It was destroyed to a great extent by fire in 1911 and some years later, in 1916, it was rebuilt. A third floor was added In 1926 and in the framework of that intervention or in a later one there was an alteration of the particular architectural elements of the facades. It has been listed.
