The Russian Church designed and constructed by architect Tilemachos Vlassopoulos in collaboration with French architect Francois Boulanger under the suggestions of architect Ivan Strom. The construction works of the church are dated in the period 1850 to 1855. Hagiographies in the temple was performed by Ludwig Thiersch.
