Neoclassical two-storey building designed by architect Ernst Ziller. It was built in 1872-1873 as the residence of Andreas Syggros while after 1921 it was bequeathed to the Greek state to house the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The construction of the mansion was first supervised by the military engineer Nikolaos Soutzos and then by the French engineer and architect Frederic Piat, who also supervised the interior decoration. During the 1930s the building underwent significant changes in its external form. It has been listed.
