MONUMENTA has established a series of awards for citizens who, through their action, contribute to the protection and promotion of the architectural heritage of Greece.

On Friday, June 26, 2025, MONUMENTA awarded the 1st prize for the promotion of architectural heritage to the architect Mr. Nikos Kavvadas, who for many consecutive years photographed the buildings of Athens, presenting them on his FB page and on the Athenian Modernism page with much information about their history, often unknown in the bibliography.There are thousands of buildings that he visited and photographed and collected documentary material.At the same time, he offered free guided tours of the city's buildings.His contribution to turning the interest of Athenian citizens and not only them to the modern architectural heritage is very, very great.
