On Monday, January 12, 2026, at the Egyptian Greek Association, at an event organized by MONUMENTA and the Hellenic Association of Cairo, Ms. Despina Tzova, an official of the Greek Embassy in Cairo, presented the buildings that house organizations and associations of the Greek Community of Cairo, as well as those that are either managed or used by the Greek Neighborhood Associations in Cairo.The speech was a magical journey into a great architectural heritage!

The evening began with the greetings of the representatives and the speech of Irini Gratsia on the records of MONUMENTA's buildings and their methodology.The participation of the public was great and the participants' narratives about the buildings of Cairo were special.It is worth mentioning the testimonies of academic Mr. Christos Zerefos about buildings that he himself knew and that no longer exist.

MONUMENTA, in collaboration with Ms. Despina Tzova, has been carrying out the registration of the buildings of the Greek Community of Cairo since 2025.
