The 2026 MONUMENTA calendar is dedicated to the cats she encountered while photographing or documenting historic buildings from the 19th and 20th centuries in Athens, Psychiko, Skiathos and Syros.Looking at the photos, we see how many of our four-legged friends live in them either because they find protection in the abandoned buildings or because they are the only ones that maintain gardens and courtyards, offering them the opportunity to live in a friendly environment.The little friends remind us that with the loss of single- and two-story houses, the natural environment and all the living beings that live within it are lost, the human scale is lost, beauty is lost!
